Lauren Bernal emailed me asking for a song ‘with a sad tinge’ about the band Sleater Kinney. Whilst I too mourned the end of Sleater Kinney, I wasn’t able to write anything too sad because my mood was good. Oh well. I chose to interpret this with optimism; sure Sleater Kinney ended but Wild Flag are here now. For the record, Lauren was psyched about the song and I was too. The verse chords are the same as ‘Oh’ by Sleater Kinney and I made the drum loop from a track on the new Psychedelic Horseshit album.
